I'm amazed that Unisa is so craptastic with their support/emails/telephones. WTF do these people do for 8 hours a day? Drink tea and smoke?

...and you cant even phone them. At least I know now that email is a waste of time. My next level of action will be to visit my local Unisa office for any queries. They are beyond incompetent.

    Super Grandmaster

I have given up on them. I was there one Saturday. Websites shows they are open, but another page says only certain Saturdays. WTF.. how difficult to have 1 place with all the info.

I tried to phone too, LMAO. It just rings... but I knew they won't answer, so was not surprised at all.

A colleague and I chatted (he is also studying at Unisa). What do they do for 8 hours a day @ Unisa? There is no support/replies when you email them.

They recycle a lot of material. Going through old exam papers guarantees you'll know 50-75% of the answers.

Apparently the old book is recommended reading as "enrichment". To be fair though the assignment doesn't count for any marks.

    Thanks cubes.

Actually managed to register online the day before closing date and paid reg fees online via cc. Everything worked. No idea how though. Just happy everything is sorted.

Has anybody noticed that certain subjects on the curriculum document are not reflecting in the myModules document for the same year?
I'm registered for BSC Informatics (98907). MyUnisa says first year of degree is 2012 so i'm referring to the 2012 brochures when registering modules and sticking to 2012 throughout my degree.

Subjects MNG3701 / AUI3702 / MNI3701 / MNE2601 are not listed in the myModules brochure but they can be found in the 2012 Curriculum under degree 98907. Did I miss the boat somewhere along the line or did unisa simply forget to include those subjects in the brochure?

EDIT: I think I may have found the answer. I see that the curriculum page says only available from 2013 / 2014... which explains why the subjects dont appear in the 2012 brochure. MNE2601 doesn't say anything along those lines but I see it appears in the 2013 modules brochure. So they probably forget to mention it will only be available from 2013.

Hi chaps. I need to re-apply for admission this year at Unisa for a different degree. Problem is my student number does not allow me to reapply (too old) from their website. Do I have to go in to the nearest branch and re-apply?
